First you must acknowledge your fear. Trying to ignore it won't work, it only makes matters worse. Fear is a natural human feeling, necessary for survival. It's the fight or flight response to danger. Because our feelings and our thoughts work intimately together, some of our fears may be "unfounded", thought-induced. What does this mean? It means that fear borne of what I call the what ifs are usually catastrophic "fantasies" we create in our minds through our thoughts (very real, mind you- sorry no pun intended). However they can wreak havoc and stunt our success. You have the power to choose your thoughts! But, imagine what would happen if you could use the power of your thoughts to your advantage? How would your life be? When we are able to identify and differentiate founded fears from fantasy-induced-fears we can become clearer in setting and reaching our dreams and success becomes a reality.
