With all the technology around these days we seem to lose sight of the simplest pleasures in life. I'm not complaining, but let's face it, it's thanks to technology that you're reading this ezine right now!
But let's take a breather and MAKE the time to "window shop".
What do I mean by this?
Back in 1899, during Mrs. Towne's time (author of How to Grow Success) the window display was born.
Families would gather around this "new" way of showcasing department store goods. Macy's, of course, started this trend.
Today, we hardly have time to stop and window shop.
So my gift to you is this simple invitation...
I'd like to invite you to take the time to "window shop," in the broadest sense of the word. That's a gift that you give yourself and it costs you absolutely nothing!

The Gift of Time
The greatest gift you can give yourself and your loved ones is the gift of time - the gift of being present. So today, make it a point to enjoy whatever it is that you're doing.
If you're out shopping, or in the kitchen cooking, or wrapping holiday gifts, remember to breathe and appreciate the little things in life: the smile from your child, the hug from your friend, that good morning from your neighbor...even the spilled milk on your dinner table! :-)
