4 Keys to Success
Part 4

I know mine really shows that it's being used constantly. Just see for yourself, the corners are bent and I have those little post-its all over!

So, let's take a moment to recap:

So far, Key #1- Success is alive. What does this mean? That success is a journey taken one step at a time. However you must take the steps to be on the road of success.

Key #2- Your Thoughts are Very Powerful. So choose them wisely. Start practicing by observing your thoughts.

Key #3- You Must Love! Putting yourself and love into who you are and what you do will change the way you look at and feel about yourself and your work.

Key #4

Let's see what Mrs. Towne has to share today:

"The individual is Lord of his own circumstances; circumstances and other men are puppets in his hands. As a man realizes this he moves circumstances and people at will, by pulling the right strings in himself."

This means that only YOU have the power to change yourself. Life and love will flow through you and those around you, once you understand and practice this principle.

"You must love people in order to be able to move them. You must be able to see them as they see themselves, and you must meet them heart-ily. Love is not sentimental gush; love is not a self announcer. Love is divine-emotion - that which moves outward from the point where the Universal meets the personal.

"Love manifests in the person as pure GOODWILL. It shines in her face, beams from her eyes and impels every action. The successful woman is a woman of pure goodwill.

"Remember, success is the liberty to command, coupled with a clear conscience and loving heart. In proportion as a man is possessed of goodwill his conscience is clear. Goodwill is the outward-moving power of a loving heart.

"Only such a heart ever has liberty to command."

Only a heart that consciously chooses love and goodwill finds true freedom. It is not tied down by hate or envy.

"In proportion as a man succeeds in letting goodwill flow outward to each person, thing or circumstance with which he comes in touch, in that proportion will he be able to influence persons, things, and circumstances according to his will - his goodwill, which is just to all.

"The art of succeeding is the art of concentrating goodwill, and using it definite purposes. He that doubts and yet does, directs negative will, not goodwill, and he is condemned in his own soul. Not only that, but he will reap outwardly what he has sown - Evil will."

So Key #4 is Goodwill. Love must be outwardly manifested through goodwill!
