Ok, so without further ado...let's get started!

Before we go any further, there is something I would like to bring to your attention.

As you read each chapter, you will notice that the author of How to Grow Success, Elizabeth Towne, uses "men", "man", and "mankind" when referring to both men and women.

Because How to Grow Success was written 104 years ago, I have avoided making changes to the original manuscript to the best of my abilities in order to preserve her work as intact as possible.

Remember, the author was ahead of her time in her concepts and techniques for wealth creation and living successfully and still is today, however she did adjust to the era in her writing style when using gender references.

Fortunately, this does not subtract from her powerful message.

Finally, as you read the ebook and this lesson, you might encounter resistance to some of Elizabeth's ideas, don't worry, that's normal. Some of her concepts are definitely based on the golden rule or may also seem over simplified or common sense. But don't be fooled, they are profound and worth pondering - take her words to heart. Sometimes the obvious is harder to "see". Keep an open mind and heart, and you will begin to see changes taking place!

So here is your 4 Keys to Success e-Course Part 1.

What do potatoes and success have to do with each other? Lots!

According to Elizabeth Towne: Success is Alive

"It germinates, sprouts, and grows. It grows first underground; in due time it appears and keeps on unfolding."

"Success is alive, it germinates, sprouts, and grows. It grows first underground; in due time it appears and keeps on unfolding."

"Unfolding!" The most powerful shift in your mind-set is this:

Success is not something that happens over night. It is not a destination, it is a process, it is the journey itself - that is your success!

In part 5, we will go into this further with a very powerful and useful exercise.

For now, let's continue...

"It is just as easy to grow success as to grow potatoes.

"Yes, it is easier: for success will grow out of potatoes, and it will grow where potatoes won't. There is not a spot on earth, or in heaven, that will not serve to sprout success in - not one.

"Success may outgrow a place and need transplanting; but it will sprout anywhere."

Think about this, the entire universe is conspiring in your favor, for your success.

(I'll go into more depth about this in Part 5, don't worry... but first...)

The entire universe revolves around your success potential! The rest is up to you to align yourself with the universe; to flow with it!

Just "knowing" this is enough to send chills up my spine. Success, truly is your and my birth-right!

Let's see what else this amazing author says about success and potatoes...

"And at any time... Potatoes must be started at a certain time. The time to plant success is NOW.

"You plant potatoes and you know they will grow. You go off and do something else while they germinate and sprout.

"You can't see them grow but you KNOW they are growing, and while you are working away at other things you have a nice little warm glow in you heart, over the fine crop that is coming on out there in the tater patch.

[This is what we call faith.]

"You love that patch. You planted it just as well as you could, with the best seed potatoes, and you are proud of it, even before there is the first peep of green. When that comes your love increases. You hoe every hill carefully and you take good care of the bugs.

"In due time you exhibit some of those spuds at the State Fair and you get a prize. And at last you command more money for your potatoes than others get for theirs.

"Now do you imagine you had no success until you got the gold for those potatoes? Then you are greatly mistaken. You planted success with every blessed tater hill. You loved it and beamed on it, hoed the weeds away, picked the bugs off, and reveled in success all summer long. You lived on success all summer."

So the first key for success is:

Key #1: Success is ALIVE!

The "seed" of success is inside you already! And it is "unfolding" before your eyes. Can you see it? It's there.

I hope this really inspires you to "love your patch", use "your best seeds," "hoe your hills with love" and get rid of the "bugs"!
